Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Lisa Robinson-Rogers is a passionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who has recently joined the team at CMAP Health. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her clients and channeling her energies into providing them with the best possible care. Lisa offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, procrastination, grief, life transitions, as well as sexuality and gender identity. Using cognitive-behavioral techniques, she helps diverse groups of clients cope with difficult emotions, work through their struggles, and find peace within themselves. She is in the final year of a Master of Arts program with a concentration in Counseling Psychology at the University of Yorkville and has previous experience in the areas of crisis management and bereavement. She is registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). When asked why she wanted to work with us at CMAP Health and what her patients could expect from her, this was Lisa’s response: "It's the complexity of the human experience that captures my attention, and I'm dedicated to helping those in need discover their own way to emotional wellness. I believe that each person is unique and has a story to tell, with their own set of values, beliefs, and experiences. By creating an atmosphere of trust, understanding, and acceptance, I strive to empower individuals to take control of their own life journey. I chose to work at CMAP Health because of Dr. Rao, his multidisciplinary team, and their commitment to gold-standard evidence-based approaches. I believe that the use of proven mental health treatments helps maximize the potential for positive outcomes. Our clients deserve the very best we have to offer."
