Julie Windle is a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa and extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Julie works within a CBT framework and combines clients’ strengths with evidence-informed therapy principles to help individuals struggling with Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, and Concurrent Disorders (mental health and addictions). Julie aims to establish a therapeutic relationship, using a client-centered and collaborative approach, in which clients feel respected, understood, and safe. She is committed to continuing formal supervision and training to ensure she is providing up to date and empirically supported therapeutic approaches. The statement, “there is no health without mental health” resonates deeply with Julie. She strongly believes that seeking therapy is a courageous and important way of investing in yourself and a positive step towards personal growth, overcoming personal obstacles and finding meaning in lived experiences.
