Therapist under Supervision
Charlotte completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Western University in 2019 and is currently completing a Master of Arts Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She is a practicum student with CMAP Health and is working toward becoming a registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists). Charlotte has centered her career on serving others and has consistently worked to share her passion and interest in self-exploration. She has worked with a variety of people across multiple contexts, such as young children experiencing grief, people living in chronic homelessness, adults and youth with psychological diagnoses and geriatric populations. Charlotte holds a strong appreciation for all ages, genders, cultures and abilities, and focuses her energy on learning about and connecting with her clients through listening and conversation. She approaches each client with genuine curiosity and care for their lived experience. Charlotte provides a safe and open space in which clients can explore their distinct therapeutic goals. Her practice integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with person-centered philosophies to expand on client strengths and abilities that will help them explore, manage and meet their current challenges. Charlotte emphasizes collaboration in her practice and works in partnership with her clients to co-construct a meaningful session together. She aims to enable independence and growth using self-exploration and scientifically validated practices.
