Adam Vasey LLB, LLM, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Adam has been a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers since 2008, when he received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor. He has more than 10 years of professional social work experience in diverse settings, including a residential treatment centre for children and youth and organizations supporting people experiencing poverty and homelessness. Adam believes that people arrive at therapy doing the best they can with the resources they have. Working collaboratively with clients, and primarily using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, he aims to provide a safe, respectful, non-judgmental space that allows individuals to cultivate the inner resources and skills necessary to overcome obstacles and reach their desired goals. Adam is currently working toward certification in CBT, with an emphasis on evidence-based therapeutic approaches for a range of anxiety and depressive disorders. As a lifelong learner, he is committed to engaging in ongoing formal training and supervision so that he can provide clients with the most effective evidence-based treatments available.
